TranspireBio Validates Springboard Soft Mist Inhaler in Phase 1 Study

A pivotal pharmacokinetic trial for TranspireBio’s proprietary Springboard Soft Mist Inhaler has met all primary and secondary endpoints, demonstrating low within-subject variability. The results confirm the platform’s capacity for consistent drug delivery, marking a critical step toward the company's goal of expanding its portfolio of inhaled therapeutic options.

The Florida-based biopharmaceutical firm confirmed that the trial successfully validated the safety and tolerability of its soft mist technology. By achieving predefined performance limits, the study provides a foundation for the company to accelerate its development pipeline, which currently targets conditions ranging from pulmonary fibrosis to obesity and central nervous system disorders.

Dr. Xian-Ming Zeng, Chief Executive Officer of TranspireBio, highlighted that the success of the Springboard platform underscores the company's internal capabilities in high-end inhalation manufacturing. To support future commercialization, the company is preparing to scale its production infrastructure. While current operations are centered in Weston, TranspireBio has scheduled the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Pembroke Pines for 2028.
