V2X Brings AI-Driven Defense Tech to AUSA 2026

At the 2026 Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting, V2X is positioning its latest suite of tactical innovations to address shifting battlefield threats. By integrating AI-powered readiness tools with ruggedized combat hardware, the company aims to modernize how ground forces manage electronic security and air-to-ground connectivity.

The company will occupy Booth 2003 in Exhibit Hall A to highlight four primary technology pillars. Central to the display is the Tempest Sentinel, a counter-unmanned aerial system built to neutralize Class 2 and 3 drones in challenging weather. Alongside this, V2X is showcasing Project Cold Steel, an AI-driven platform designed to forecast aircraft maintenance needs and minimize fleet downtime by synthesizing flight line data.

Security and communications infrastructure also take a prominent role. The firm’s Advantor division will demonstrate unified electronic security systems, while the Gateway Mission Router series—specifically the GMR 1000 and 5000—will showcase cyber-hardened, multi-domain communication capabilities for aviation and ground vehicles. These solutions reflect a broader push by V2X to embed machine learning and digital integration into the core of military mission lifecycles.
