The Hamburg-based company plans to utilize the fresh capital to accelerate the development of its AI-native platform and broaden its international reach. By providing a bridge between legacy infrastructure and modern digital requirements, Procuros aims to enable retailers and suppliers to automate complex B2B workflows. Currently, the platform facilitates over €3 billion in annualized order volume across a client base that includes Breuninger, KoRo, and flaconi.
Patrick Thelen, CEO and co-founder of Procuros, noted that while AI capabilities are accelerating, many supply chains remain tethered to outdated infrastructure that hinders communication between systems. The platform addresses this by offering the connectivity and data integrity necessary for AI agents to operate effectively. Valerie Bures-Bönström, Partner at XAnge, highlighted that the firm is backing Procuros to establish a new category for global B2B trade, noting the startup's success in proving its model within the DACH region.
