Lewis, who recently rejoined the Bravo lineup with his new series Still Flipping Out, addressed the volatility of his relationship with the network producer during an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. He clarified that while the two have never reached a point of genuine hatred, their clashing personalities have led to repeated cooling-off periods. According to Lewis, the dynamic is often lopsided, as he frequently finds himself getting on Cohen’s nerves more than the inverse.
The designer acknowledged that he is now actively editing his behavior to preserve the peace. He described a conscious effort to censor his remarks, recognizing that jokes which land well with a general audience often fail to amuse Cohen. This tension previously spilled into the public eye at BravoCon 2025, where Lewis faced audience backlash after questioning the casting choices for The Real Housewives. Lewis noted that he later apologized to Cohen for those on-stage comments, reinforcing his current commitment to avoiding unnecessary controversy within their circle.
