The speculation surrounding the Pyramid Stage remains unconfirmed, as festival organizer Emily Eavis has maintained that the lineup is set but not yet public. Sheeran joins a list of rumored headliners that includes Harry Styles, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift. While the festival circuit looks ahead, Sheeran’s current "Loop Tour" has been defined by instability. Following the removal of several opening acts—including Macklemore, Finneas, and Lukas Graham—Sheeran has been forced to restructure his live shows, recently bringing in Isaac Slade of The Fray to fill the gap at his Atlanta performance.
Beyond the shifting lineup, Sheeran’s recent touring experience has been complicated by external pressure and administrative friction. Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell successfully intervened to secure refund options for fans at his Gillette Stadium shows after Ticketmaster initially refused to acknowledge the significant changes to the supporting artists as grounds for reimbursement. These logistical headaches, combined with a decline in social media following and vocal criticism from peers and family, have marked a challenging chapter for the artist. Despite the cancellations caused by severe weather and the ongoing controversies, the tour is slated to continue through Latin America, concluding in Mexico City this December.
