Golden State Dermatology Enters Utah Market via St. George Acquisition

Founded by Daren Brooks, DO, the St. George practice specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology, offering services ranging from skin cancer screenings to laser treatments and dermal fillers. Dr. Brooks, an endurance athlete who helped secure the Ironman competition for the area, returned to his hometown to establish the clinic after previously operating in Arizona. He works alongside Trent Kenworthy, FNP-C, a local provider with a background in wound and primary care.

Joining the Golden State network allows the practice to scale its operations while maintaining the localized, patient-centered approach that defined its independent years. The partnership aligns with Golden State Dermatology’s stated mission of preserving physician independence amid broader healthcare consolidation.
