Predactiv Launches AI Foundation Model for Behavioral Targeting

Palo Alto-based Predactiv has unveiled its People Model, a proprietary AI foundation designed to synthesize over 65 billion monthly behavioral signals. By enabling marketers to generate custom audiences through natural language prompts, the platform aims to replace static data targeting with dynamic, real-time predictive modeling.

The system streamlines predictive analytics by generating rich user embeddings, effectively bypassing the manual feature-engineering workflows that previously delayed deployment. Marketers can now describe specific consumer segments in plain language—such as identifying potential buyers for premium athletic gear—and receive bespoke audience sets that remain inaccessible to competitors. This capability extends to lookalike modeling and next-purchase predictions, which the company claims can be executed in minutes rather than weeks.

Beyond audience creation, the model allows brands to integrate their own first-party data to expand seed audiences and extract behavioral insights via conversational queries. According to CEO Dana Hayes Jr., the model bridges the gap between raw behavioral data and actionable marketing intelligence. Chief Product Officer Michael Gorman added that early implementations have already demonstrated significant performance gains in audience activation. The technology is currently accessible via the Predactiv Data Platform, its API, and an MCP Server integration for third-party AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
