The integration allows store operators to install Partner Tech’s Alfred, Starling, and Paula terminals alongside current Verifone C18 systems. Because the technology links directly into the Commander site controller, stores maintain seamless control over fuel prepayments, loyalty programs, and age-restricted sales while offloading transaction processing to the AI-driven Otter software suite.
Sandra Hsia, President of Partner Tech USA, noted that the platform is designed to ease labor shortages and improve throughput without forcing retailers to overhaul their back-end systems. The software relies on computer vision and real-time transaction monitoring to detect potential theft—a critical concern for convenience operators managing high-traffic environments. Verifone’s James Hervey emphasized that this open architecture approach allows for frictionless modernization, enabling shops to enhance the customer experience while protecting profitability.
This certified solution is available immediately for deployment in travel centers and fuel retailers. Partner Tech plans to demonstrate the integrated hardware at the NACS Show in October, showcasing how the AI-assisted lanes handle barcode scanning, age verification, and security scaling within a unified management dashboard.
