SEI Group Expands Into Utah With Greenhome Specialties Acquisition

Greenhome Specialties, established in 2011, specializes in fiberglass and spray foam insulation for residential and light commercial construction across the Salt Lake City area and surrounding states. Kyle Tolman, who founded the company, will retain his role as president under the new ownership. SEI Group CEO Mark Moore described the move as a significant milestone in the company’s growth plan, noting that the acquisition integrates Greenhome into a broader network of 45 branches spanning 14 states.

This transaction continues an aggressive acquisition trend for SEI Group, which has purchased 17 businesses since its February 2021 recapitalization by Quad-C Management. While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the move underscores SEI’s focus on high-growth regional markets. The company provides a range of installation services, including shelving, gutters, and garage doors, catering primarily to national and custom homebuilders.
