Jonathan Bennett Finds New Rhythm in Daytime TV and Kitchen Innovation

Two decades after the cultural phenomenon of Mean Girls, Jonathan Bennett is embracing a career resurgence as detective Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital. Beyond his return to the soap opera world, the actor is pivoting into the culinary space, lending his voice to Ninja’s latest meal-prep technology, the PREPi system.

Bennett describes his entry into the cast of General Hospital as a humbling experience, noting that stepping into an institution defined by daytime legends feels like a significant professional milestone. This role marks a return to his roots, having appeared on All My Children early in his career. He characterizes the opportunity to work alongside established veterans of the genre as a genuine blessing, acknowledging the weight of the show’s legacy.

Outside of the studio, the actor has shifted his focus to home efficiency through a partnership with Ninja. He is currently promoting the PREPi, a multi-functional system designed to streamline food preparation by combining dicing, chopping, and storage into a single workflow. According to Bennett, the device has simplified his own routine by allowing him to prep, store, and transport meals within the same compact container. The system, which retails between $179 and $229, aims to reduce the cleanup burden for home cooks by consolidating multiple kitchen tools into one design.
