Nscale Recruits Meta Veteran Justin Osofsky as Chief Operating Officer

Osofsky joins the London-based company after a lengthy tenure at Meta, where he occupied key leadership roles including Chief Partnerships Officer, COO of Instagram, and Vice President of Global Operations. His move signals a strategic shift for Nscale as it attempts to solidify its position in the competitive AI cloud market by integrating software, compute power, and data center management.

In his new capacity, Osofsky will oversee a wide range of critical internal functions, including business development, marketing, M&A, and regional leadership across EMEA and APAC. CEO Josh Payne noted that Osofsky’s experience at one of the world’s largest technology firms is expected to provide the necessary discipline to scale Nscale’s vertically integrated platform. Osofsky, who holds both an MBA and a J.D. from Harvard, previously worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company before his nearly two-decade run in the social media giant's executive ranks.
