Sky Elements Sets Drone Records With 11,000-Unit Performance in Texas

A staggering 11,000 drones lit up the North Texas sky this week, as Sky Elements shattered national records in a series of seven massive aerial displays. By launching over 71,000 flights in three nights, the company successfully reclaimed the title for the largest drone shows ever performed on American soil.

The feat, achieved in collaboration with Damoda America, involved flying 71,207 drones between September 27 and September 29 in Blue Ridge, Texas. Among the highlights was a record-breaking depiction of a mythical creature using 10,183 drones, easily eclipsing the previous milestone of 2,247. These accomplishments bring Sky Elements' total tally of Guinness World Records to 19.

CEO Rick Boss noted that large-scale drone performances have historically been concentrated in Asia and the Middle East. By executing six shows of 10,000 drones and one final 11,000-drone spectacle, the team proved that such logistics are now viable domestically. The displays featured complex imagery, including a soaring eagle, Pegasus, and intricate depictions of deep space, all verified by an official Guinness adjudicator onsite.
