Ken Urker Found Dead at 34 on His Birthday

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies arrived at the residence at approximately 6:15 p.m. after receiving a call regarding the discovery. Blanchard’s brother, Dylan, and his wife had gone to the home to collect Urker for dinner when they found him. His sister, Autumn, later shared on social media that his final words to her were an expression of love.

While Blanchard has publicly suggested the death may have been an overdose, authorities have not released an official cause or manner of death. The investigation continues, with toxicology results currently pending. No evidence of foul play has been identified by investigators, and no criminal charges have been filed.

Urker, who began a relationship with Blanchard after watching her documentary, leaves behind a daughter born in late 2024. The pair had recently reconnected in April 2024 following the dissolution of Blanchard’s marriage to Ryan Anderson. As the sheriff’s office continues its work, the focus remains on the medical findings that will eventually clarify the circumstances surrounding his death.
