Prescient Security brings a workforce of 350 experts and a client base of 5,000 to the Swiss corporation. The firm specializes in navigating complex regulatory environments, including FedRAMP, SOC2, and ISO frameworks, serving industries ranging from defense and healthcare to financial services. Their service model combines human-led manual penetration testing with AI-assisted automation, a capability SGS plans to leverage to meet its target of 200 million Swiss francs in additional Digital Trust revenue by 2027.
SGS CEO Géraldine Picaud described the deal as a milestone in the company’s broader Digital Trust strategy, emphasizing the value of independent audits in an increasingly volatile digital landscape. Prescient founders Fabrice Mouret and Sammy Chowdhury will integrate their operations into the SGS platform, aiming to scale their technical expertise across the company’s 115-country footprint. This integration provides SGS with deeper penetration into the US federal sector, where demand for CMMC and cybersecurity compliance continues to climb.
