The distribution process involved allocating shares to enCore shareholders of record as of September 25, 2026. The total pool consists of 21 million unrestricted shares and 14 million restricted shares, split evenly between two tranches maturing on November 20, 2026, and February 20, 2027. Any fractional entitlements were rounded down, resulting in enCore retaining a small remainder of shares across the three categories.
Janet Lee-Sheriff, CEO of Verdera, characterized the move as a major milestone for the company. By broadening its shareholder base, Verdera aims to accelerate the development of its New Mexico mineral rights, which encompass approximately 400 square miles and 88 million pounds of known and historical uranium resources. This operational focus aligns with broader national efforts to bolster domestic uranium production and decrease reliance on foreign imports. The company maintains its commitment to local community engagement as it shifts toward the next phase of its resource development strategy.
