Easy Spirit Launches Annual Move For Pink Campaign to Support Research

For the seventh consecutive year, footwear brand Easy Spirit has launched its Move For Pink campaign, pledging at least $25,000 to breast cancer research. The initiative supports the work of surgical oncologist Dr. Lisa Newman at Weill Cornell Medicine, focusing on patient advocacy and closing disparities in cancer treatment.

Throughout October, the company is releasing a limited-edition version of its Ace Sneaker, which utilizes the brand’s signature SoEasy technology for hands-free wear. Proceeds from these sales will be directed to the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation’s Shoes for a Cure program. This funding specifically targets Dr. Newman’s efforts to improve surgical care and genetic research, with a reach that extends to international clinical work in countries like Ghana.

Shanya Perera, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Marc Fisher Footwear, noted that the program aims to support both patients and caregivers by emphasizing the role of physical movement in mental and physical health. Dr. Newman highlighted that the sustained corporate partnership is vital for identifying treatment opportunities across diverse patient populations. The sneakers are available starting October 1, 2026, through the brand’s website and major retailers including Nordstrom, Macy’s, and DSW.
