The brand's Q3 performance included the opening of 13 new stores, signaling a consistent trajectory as the company heads into the final months of the year. Victor Daher, Vice President of Global Franchise Development, attributed this growth to a robust pipeline of entrepreneurs who see value in the company’s specialized retail approach. Expansion is currently focused on Florida, Utah, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Alabama, and Texas.
Beyond physical storefronts, the company is integrating new technology to streamline operations. The rollout of an internal AI suite—featuring an automated agent for prospective franchisees, a bilingual voice assistant for store calls, and a product-matching search tool—was completed by the end of September. These digital tools aim to support the company’s long-term goal of signing 60 to 70 new stores annually, a pace established following the brand's resilience during the pandemic.
Industry recognition has accompanied this expansion. Batteries Plus secured the 118th spot on the Franchise Times Top 400 list, while individual partners and staff received accolades for their contributions. Phoenix-based operator Stephen Lutfi was honored as the 2026 Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association, and corporate marketing leaders Sara Whiteleather and Chris McGee were recognized by the Franchise Assembly for their strategic initiatives.
