MY DR NOW Launches Walk-In Primary Care Clinic in East Tucson

Located in the Safeway shopping center at 6330 E. Golf Links Rd., the new site provides a direct alternative to crowded urgent care centers or emergency room visits for non-emergency medical needs. The clinic will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with weekend availability from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Services include chronic disease management, vaccinations, physicals, and pediatric care.

Founder and CEO Dr. Payam Zamani argues that the traditional primary care model fails patients by forcing them into rigid schedules that often conflict with work hours. By prioritizing walk-in availability and continuity of care, the organization intends to bridge the gap between sporadic urgent care and long-term health management. Since its founding in 2007, the Phoenix-based company has expanded to 84 locations across Arizona and Texas.
