Kindsight Honors Fundraising Leaders at 2026 Kindness Awards

Five organizations and individuals received accolades at the second annual Kindness Awards in Nashville, a celebration of those leveraging enterprise fundraising technology to drive measurable impact. The honors, presented during the KindCon 2026 conference, highlight how institutional data and AI-driven tools translate into tangible philanthropic success.

The awards, hosted by Kindsight executives Marie Yatco and George Wu, recognized 25 finalists for their contributions to advancement technology. Notable recipients included the Hoag Hospital Foundation, which utilized Kindsight’s platform to generate over $5 million in contributions within the first six months of 2026 through a modernized grateful patient program. Under the guidance of Executive Director Alyce De La Cruz, the foundation has become a benchmark for efficiency in the healthcare sector.

Other winners focused on institutional advancement and community building. The Purdue for Life Foundation earned the Fundraising Innovator title for its system design and willingness to share best practices, while the Wisconsin Foundation & Alumni Association was recognized as a Growth Leader for scaling its data governance. On an individual level, Heather Thorwald of the University of Colorado received the Community Catalyst award for fostering peer-to-peer learning, and Texas A&M Foundation’s Jose De La Colina Horta was honored as a Cheer Captain for his technical leadership in implementing AI-powered tools.

Kindsight, which supports over 4,500 organizations worldwide, designed these awards to highlight the human element behind software implementation. By focusing on both technical adoption and community collaboration, the winners demonstrate how centralized data ecosystems—such as the Ascend CRM and iWave intelligence—enable nonprofits to scale their missions effectively.
