The Invertibles™ system functions as both a dine-in serving tray and a secure carryout container, a design shift intended to solve common logistical headaches for convenience stores and restaurants. By reducing the number of SKUs required, operators can eliminate the recurring issue of mismatched lid and base inventories while freeing up valuable storage space. The product also features integrated stacking rails to ensure stability during transport.
Pranay Harsh, vice president and general manager at Anchor Packaging, noted that the development process focused on simplifying inventory management and enhancing operational efficiency. According to the company, this design represents a move away from incremental improvements toward a fundamental shift in how food packaging is handled. Georgia-Pacific plans to demonstrate the full Invertibles™ lineup at the upcoming 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, scheduled for October 7–9 at booth C55059.
