Zircon Corporation Appoints Angela Sweeney as Chief Financial Officer

Sweeney brings a track record of scaling 14 startups and guiding 16 mergers and acquisitions. Her background spans aerospace, robotics, and medical devices, as well as SaaS and fintech sectors. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at companies including Poplar Homes and Astra, where she managed multimillion-dollar treasury operations and secured over $100 million in debt and equity capital.

Zircon CEO John Stauss noted that Sweeney’s appointment is intended to bridge the gap between financial rigor and operational execution. As the company moves beyond its 50th anniversary, Sweeney will focus on building the financial infrastructure required to support its product pipeline and global market presence. She aims to apply the same precision found in Zircon’s toolsets to the company’s internal financial planning, reporting, and capital strategy.
