KeyBank Appoints Mike Keane as Key Wealth COO

Keane joins the Cleveland-based institution from Wilmington Trust, the wealth management division of M&T Bank, where he previously served as COO. His mandate at Key Wealth involves driving growth and modernizing operating models to improve client and advisor experiences. He will report directly to Joe Skarda, the Head of Key Wealth.

He succeeds Joe Calabrese, a veteran of the wealth management industry who is set to retire at the end of the year. Calabrese joined Key Wealth in 2016 and will remain with the organization through December to facilitate a handover. Skarda credited Calabrese with shaping the division's current growth strategy and operating framework over his tenure.
