The partnership bridges the heritage of the century-old doll manufacturer with the visual simplicity that has defined Miffy since her 1955 debut. With over 85 million books sold worldwide, the character’s hallmark clean lines and primary-color palette now anchor a versatile product range.
The initial rollout features five distinct offerings tailored to different stages of play. For younger children, the 8-inch 'Little Cuties Play Friends' arrive in red, blue, or yellow dresses, priced at $15.00 each. The collection scales up in complexity with the 12-inch 'Sweet Baby Nursery Nap Time' and 'My First Slumber Time' dolls, retailing for $60.00 and $56.00 respectively. Expanding the range for more interactive play, the 14-inch 'Sweet Smiles' series includes a Deluxe Playset at $80.00 and an 'Out and About' set at $70.00, both equipped with thematic accessories.
David Morgenstern of Madame Alexander stated that the collaboration aims to pair the company’s focus on imaginative play with the familiarity of Bruna’s design. Marja Kerkhof, managing director at Miffy licensor Mercis bv, noted that the dolls offer a tactile evolution for a character long defined by her illustrative roots. The collection will be available through madamealexander.com, Amazon, and various retail partners, with the companies confirming that further additions to the line are expected throughout 2027.
