Aardvark Therapeutics Investors Face October 13 Deadline for Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Aardvark Therapeutics stock between February 2025 and May 2026 have until October 13, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation centers on allegations that the biopharmaceutical firm misled shareholders regarding the safety and clinical viability of its lead drug, ARD-101.

The complaint filed by Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP alleges that the company failed to disclose critical safety risks associated with its experimental treatment for Prader-Willi Syndrome. Specifically, the suit claims that Aardvark concealed evidence of reversible cardiac observations, including QRS prolongation, which surfaced during high-dose trials. These undisclosed issues reportedly led to the overstatement of the company's clinical and commercial prospects for its Phase 3 HERO trial.

Financial fallout began in February 2026 when the company voluntarily paused its Phase 3 study, triggering a 56% decline in share value. The situation worsened on May 14, 2026, when the FDA issued a full clinical hold on the company’s investigational new drug application for ARD-101. This regulatory action resulted in a further 32.1% drop in the company's stock price. Reed Kathrein, a partner at Hagens Berman, stated that the firm is actively investigating claims that the company misled investors about the drug's development and efficacy. Affected shareholders are encouraged to contact the firm to discuss potential recovery options before the court-mandated deadline.
