Codoxo Named Among TIME’s Top HealthTech Companies for 2026

With healthcare costs climbing and administrative systems buckling, Duluth-based Codoxo has secured a spot on TIME’s World's Top HealthTech Companies 2026 list. The ranking, compiled by Statista, honors 500 innovators worldwide that leverage technology to reshape how medical payments are processed, audited, and managed.

The selection process evaluated thousands of organizations based on financial performance, reputation, and digital engagement. For Codoxo, the recognition highlights a shift in industry strategy. While traditional payment integrity methods typically rely on reactive, post-claim recovery, Codoxo utilizes AI to intervene at the earliest possible stage. By identifying potential risks before claims are ever submitted, the platform aims to reduce friction between payers and providers while curbing unnecessary expenditures for its 167 million covered members.

Dr. Musheer Ahmed, founder and CEO of Codoxo, described the current healthcare landscape as being at a breaking point where incremental change is insufficient. The company’s focus remains on shifting the payment lifecycle from fragmented, manual reviews toward a model of connected intelligence. This latest accolade from TIME adds to a growing list of industry recognition for the firm, including a Fierce Healthcare Innovation Award and multiple appearances on the Inc. 5000 list. Codoxo plans to showcase its generative AI-driven tools next at the NHCAA Annual Training Conference held in San Diego this November.
