The new mausoleum, designed to balance natural light with liturgical tradition, features nine distinct mosaics crafted by artists Alexander and Daniela Mandradjiev. These works depict elemental symbols of the Holy Spirit, including fire, water, and wind. According to Alexander Mandradjiev, each piece functions as a prayer rendered in color. Alongside this installation, the cemetery is previewing the under-construction Chapel Mausoleum of Our Lady, which will house a centerpiece mosaic dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.
Executive Director Joseph Heckel noted that these additions aim to provide a dignified setting for reflection and committal services that honors the site’s long-standing role in the community. During the weekend event, held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., staff will lead tours and offer consultations on burial and cremation planning. Families finalizing arrangements by October 11 can access 2026 price protection and 48-month interest-free financing.
