The convention, held from September 20 to 23, centered on intelligent manufacturing, attracting 74,000 in-person attendees and millions more online. Exhibits highlighted high-end hardware, including a 180-qubit superconducting quantum processor and the Burning Plasma Experimental Superconducting Tokamak. Of the total agreements signed, 708 projects focused on advanced manufacturing, accounting for RMB 331.7 billion of the total investment.
The global reach was substantial, with international delegates comprising over half of the guest list. This included executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, diplomats, and academic experts. Regional cooperation remained a cornerstone of the event, as partnerships involving Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang yielded 453 projects worth RMB 154.72 billion. Meanwhile, the 'Central SOEs Visit Anhui' initiative secured 16 agreements, most notably a big data center project in the Wuhu Economic Development Zone valued at over RMB 10 billion.
Organizers utilized the 80,000-square-meter venue to facilitate 27 matchmaking sessions, resulting in 87 specific memoranda of understanding. Beyond the capital investments, the convention served as a launchpad for 160 new technologies and reports, including breakthroughs in humanoid robotics and quantum-diamond chip testing instruments. These results underscore a shift toward high-tech industrial collaboration between Chinese domestic firms and international partners.
