Her medical team initially pointed to Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, leaving her without answers for her volatile moods until she finally received a postpartum depression diagnosis around her daughter Jupiter’s second birthday. Tisdale credited French’s grounded demeanor with preventing their separation, explaining that he intuitively understood when to let her emotional outbursts subside.
Since navigating those early hurdles, the couple has relied on therapy and consistent communication to maintain their bond. Tisdale, who also shares a second child, Emerson, born in 2024, observed that her second postpartum experience was markedly different. Reflecting on the evolution of their relationship, she emphasized that while their foundation was built during years of marriage prior to children, the unpredictable pressures of parenthood required a new, intentional approach to staying on the same page.
