FastSpring Integrates Cash App Pay for U.S. Merchants

U.S.-based customers can now complete digital purchases using Cash App Pay, following a new integration with the merchant-of-record platform FastSpring. This rollout allows shoppers to bypass manual card entry by authenticating transactions directly through their Cash App balance, streamlining the checkout flow for both one-time and recurring payments.

The integration aims to reduce friction during the buying process by leveraging familiar mobile payment habits. Customers on mobile devices utilize a one-tap flow within the Cash App, while desktop users complete the transaction by scanning a QR code. According to Jeremy Waxman, VP of Payments at FastSpring, providing widely used payment methods is critical to maintaining a seamless customer experience.

Approved FastSpring sellers can now activate the feature to support their U.S. customer base. The update covers a broad range of digital commerce needs, including subscription management, without requiring manual entry of sensitive card information. Merchants interested in the functionality can access updated documentation or reach out to their account representatives to begin the implementation process.
