Retail Tech Investment Surge: 12 Startups Securing Fresh Capital

Autonomous freight, AI-driven marketing, and compliance infrastructure are dominating the latest investment landscape. Twelve retail technology ventures have collectively secured significant capital to scale operations, proving that despite shifting market conditions, investors are doubling down on platforms that solve complex supply chain and digital commerce challenges.

The funding activity spans a wide spectrum of retail innovation. In the autonomous sector, Gatik captured $200 million in Series D financing to expand its driverless freight fleet across North America, targeting a deployment of over 100 trucks by 2026. Simultaneously, ARC secured $60 million to scale its enterprise device management platform, aimed at solving frontline workforce connectivity issues. The marketing and e-commerce personalization space saw equally robust interest. Profound closed a massive $180 million Series D at a $1.8 billion valuation to advance its AI-powered marketing agent, while Levanta added $22 million to its coffers to further its creator-commerce infrastructure. Smaller, agile players also found momentum: eComID secured $17 million for its AI-led shopping passport, and Keep Converting emerged from stealth with $2 million to refine real-time product page personalization.

Compliance and inventory management remain critical pain points attracting venture backing. Copenhagen-based Complir landed $11 million to automate product compliance across international markets, and Buywander raised $21 million to accelerate its auction-based marketplace for returned goods. Other notable rounds include the social shopping platform GoWish, which secured €13.4 million for US expansion, and the Manchester-based payments firm Ryft, which raised £20 million to fuel its European growth. Rounding out the cohort, Thri5 pulled in $5.4 million to deploy its AI-native execution layer, while Advisar secured $750,000 to bring clarity to retail media analytics for suppliers.
