Stevie Wonder Unearthed Four Lost Tracks for 50th Anniversary

The EP arrived with precision timing at 4:54 a.m. PDT on September 28, marking the exact moment the original studio sessions concluded five decades ago. The new tracks—"It’s Easier," "My Life Story of Love," "I Can See the Sun in Late December," and "I’m Into Livin’"—showcase Wonder’s signature multi-instrumental mastery, as he handled production, songwriting, and the performance of drums, bass, and the GX-1 Dream Machine. Susaye Greene shares a writing credit on "My Life Story of Love."

To commemorate the milestone, Wonder is launching an 18-date tour across Europe and the United States, performing the original album in its entirety. The run kicks off October 13 in Birmingham before moving to cities including Paris, Copenhagen, and Stockholm. The North American leg begins November 19 at Madison Square Garden, concluding December 19 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This series follows a busy 2025 for the artist, who recently participated in high-profile tributes for Quincy Jones and Sly Stone.
