The company introduced the initiative at its WOW26 conference in Scottsdale, moving away from static interfaces toward a more fluid digital ecosystem. CEO Pete Schmied argues that organizations have long relied on rigid scripts that do not reflect how employees actually operate. By connecting data from communications, signage, and visitor management, the platform aims to anticipate needs rather than waiting for manual input.
Central to this vision are two new features: Organic UI and Situational Signage. Organic UI dynamically reconfigures software interfaces to surface relevant tools based on an employee’s current task, theoretically reducing time spent navigating complex menus. Simultaneously, Situational Signage shifts digital display content based on physical occupancy and activity levels, ensuring information is tailored to the immediate surroundings.
Beyond these interface changes, the company also launched Appspace Migration Studio, an AI-driven tool intended to expedite the transfer of legacy intranet content. Additionally, a new integration with SwiftConnect enables mobile-wallet building access, consolidating space booking and physical entry into a single flow. These updates signal a broader push to unify digital and physical workplace experiences under a single, context-aware umbrella as companies prepare for more AI-integrated office environments.
