The acquisition, finalized on September 3, 2026, adds to Mattamy Homes’ existing portfolio in the area, which already includes the Tavira at Twin Peaks and Silverbell Ridge communities. According to Anjela Salyer, President of the company’s Tucson Division, the site was selected for its connectivity and proximity to key regional transit hubs, including both Phoenix and Tucson international airports. The developer plans to offer five distinct floorplans, ranging from one- to two-story designs, with initial sales projected to launch in September 2027.

Positioned along the Twin Peaks corridor, the development is designed to capitalize on the area's mix of urban convenience and outdoor access. Prospective residents will be located near the Wild Burro Trail System and the 137-mile Loop multi-use pathway. The site also offers proximity to major retail centers like the Tucson Premium Outlet Mall and championship golf courses in the Dove Mountain area. With move-ins anticipated by November 2027, the project reflects a broader strategy to pair modern, open-concept home designs with the recreational lifestyle characteristic of the Sonoran Desert.
