The new service integrates directly into existing development workflows by supporting GitHub repository connections or direct zip file uploads. Once code is submitted, the platform generates a private preview environment, enabling developers to test changes before pushing them to a public domain. Upon publication, the system automatically provisions an HTTPS certificate, a content delivery network, and a web application firewall to secure the application.
By utilizing Personal Access Tokens, developers can grant AI agents programmatic control over the entire application lifecycle. This includes managing environment secrets, reading build logs, and executing deployments without requiring manual sign-ins. Bhala Dalvi, GoDaddy’s CTO of products and AI, noted that the platform intends to remove the friction of infrastructure management, allowing builders to remain within their preferred coding environments. The hosting supports persistent Node.js processes, accommodating applications that require background jobs or open connections. Users can currently create two private preview apps for free, while full publication requires a standard GoDaddy Web Hosting plan.
