ISPE Names New Leadership for 2026-2027 Board Term

The organization confirmed the election results following an independent audit, setting the stage for a leadership transition during the October 18–21 event. Ylva Ek leads the Executive Committee, joined by Vice Chair David Churchward of AstraZeneca, Treasurer Dr. Georg Singewald of Roche/Genentech, and Secretary Gunter Baumgartner of Takeda. Vivianne Arencibia of Lonza AG completes the committee as Past Chair.

The board also welcomes four new and re-elected directors to its ranks: Michele Ghinizzini of Sanofi, Dr. Paige Kane of CAI, Shanshan Liu of Fedegari, and Vivien Santillan of Novatek International. These individuals join a group of continuing members, including Jose Caraballo-Oramas, Liz Dooley, and Francesco Intoccia, whose two-year terms extend through 2027. The election marks the conclusion of service for outgoing board members Jeffrey Biskup, Victor Cruz, Norman Goldschmidt, and James Grunwald.
