Blavity Inc. is scaling its flagship event to include 300 speakers across 15 tracks, with a primary mission of training one million people in artificial intelligence. The five-day schedule features a dedicated two-day HealthStack conference, executive-level policy roundtables, and the new AI Edge Training Summit. Founder and CEO Morgan DeBaun stated that while the initial goal of AfroTech was providing access to a closed industry, the current objective is to foster influence and long-term economic power. The lineup features figures including Andrew Yang, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and Dr. Timnit Gebru, who will join industry leaders to address the gap between rapid technological shifts and traditional professional development.
