The platform addresses a long-standing disconnect between community programming and the infrastructure required to support it. By integrating reservation systems directly with asset records and maintenance schedules, the software allows departments to track everything from field availability to inspection history in one interface. Kate Ernst, senior vice president of marketing, noted that the system aims to reduce administrative friction for public servants, allowing them to focus on community-facing initiatives rather than fragmented data management.
Development of the tool is currently underway in collaboration with industry professionals to ensure the workflows meet specific municipal needs. The rollout begins with facility reservations—enabling residents to view and book shelters, courts, and fields—with further capabilities like league management, memberships, and point-of-sale transactions slated for release by the end of 2026. When paired with OpenGov’s existing Enterprise Asset Management suite, the solution provides agencies with a unified view of their facilities, eliminating the need to reconcile information across disparate software packages.
