Beta Bionics Faces Securities Lawsuit Over iLet Device Malfunctions

Investors who purchased Beta Bionics common stock between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026, face a November 3, 2026, deadline to serve as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit. The litigation centers on allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding the safety and functionality of its iLet insulin pump.

The lawsuit, filed by the Rosen Law Firm, claims that Beta Bionics provided false assurances to the market about its automated insulin delivery system. According to the complaint, the company downplayed serious FDA concerns, labeling reports of device malfunctions as benign. In reality, the FDA had documented thousands of issues, including hundreds of life-threatening hypoglycemic events caused by dangerously high insulin doses.

Plaintiffs allege that Beta Bionics failed to implement necessary corrective actions following FDA scrutiny, misleading investors about the gravity of the product's defects. When these details surfaced, the company's stock value suffered, leading to the current legal challenge. Investors interested in participating in the class action or seeking appointment as lead plaintiff must move the court by the November 3 deadline.
