Rokid attributes this momentum to its focus on lightweight hardware, weighing just 49 grams, and a software ecosystem that integrates multiple AI models, including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and DeepSeek, directly into the user’s field of view.
Zoro Shao, Rokid’s Global General Manager, identifies the rise of agentic AI as the primary engine for future growth. The company’s devices now leverage first-person cameras to assist users with real-time translation, navigation, and environmental awareness for those with visual impairments. Following its success in North America and China, the company is expanding into Germany and France. To support this scale, Rokid has grown its developer community to 35,000 members and introduced the AIUI Studio platform to streamline global application development.
