The partnership aims to leverage Malaysia’s infrastructure as a regional hub for processing and exporting Saudi-produced chicken. Both firms plan to explore joint investments in hatcheries and farming operations, alongside the development of a unified brand that meets international halal standards. For Tanmiah, the venture is central to its 2030 strategy of scaling non-oil exports and securing a leadership position in the global healthy protein market.
Tanmiah Group CEO Zulfiqar Hamadani identified Malaysia as a critical gateway, noting that the country’s reputation for halal excellence provides the necessary foundation for the company’s regional expansion. Tradewinds CEO Dennis Foo echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the collaboration combines Tanmiah’s integrated production model with Malaysia’s manufacturing capacity. During the showcase, the two companies introduced their joint product lineup, including the award-winning Frozen Breaded Chicken and Taste Secrets marinated ranges, to establish brand visibility ahead of further commercial development.
