Unisys Joins Business Insider’s 2027 List of Most Innovative Businesses

The selection process for the 2027 list involved a rigorous screening of 4,000 publicly traded U.S. firms. Following an analysis of patent data, financial filings, and peer surveys conducted alongside Plant-A Insights Group, 1,600 companies moved to the final round. Unisys emerged as one of only 15 organizations recognized within the IT Services and IT Consulting category.

Mike Thomson, chief executive officer and president of Unisys, attributed the accolade to the firm's strategic focus on integrating artificial intelligence with deep industry expertise. This latest recognition adds to a string of recent industry honors for the company, including appearances on TIME’s America’s Best Companies 2026, The Economist’s Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces, and Forbes’ list of America’s Best Midsize Employers.
