The security incident began on July 16, 2026, and persisted until July 27, when internal monitoring flagged suspicious activity. Cybersecurity specialists were immediately brought in to secure the environment and investigate the extent of the unauthorized access. A subsequent comprehensive review revealed that files containing Social Security numbers, driver’s license details, financial account numbers, and health insurance information were likely accessed or downloaded by the intruder.
To manage the fallout, the tribe has opened a dedicated toll-free call center at (844) 301-0179. Representatives are available to assist affected individuals with inquiries regarding the scope of the exposure from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday. While the tribe has expressed regret over the incident, they maintain that securing patient data remains a primary operational priority.
