CEO Simon Griffiths framed the evening as a strategic investment in the bank’s most vital asset. During the ceremony, 19 employees received special honors for their commitment to the institution’s core values and service standards. Denae Smith, Vice President of Retail Sales, was named Officer of the Year, while Lori Meservey, a Senior Operations Specialist, earned the title of Stakeholder of the Year. Beyond individual awards, the bank acknowledged 84 staff members for reaching significant career anniversaries, with some tenures extending beyond four decades.
These celebrations underscore the bank’s effort to maintain its standing as Northern New England’s largest publicly traded bank holding company. By highlighting individuals like Fraud Mitigation Manager Morgan LeClair and Digital Banking lead Kevin Richards, the organization aims to reinforce a culture of retention and internal advancement. This focus on internal recognition remains a cornerstone of the $6.9 billion institution’s strategy to balance digital service growth with a traditional community banking model across its 72 locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
