Clean Express Auto Wash Ties Partnership to Steelers Legacy

The Immaculate Reception has a new connection to the present-day gridiron, as Clean Express Auto Wash joins the Pittsburgh Steelers as a corporate partner. The collaboration links the car wash operator with the team’s community efforts while launching a promotion that rewards fans for every home game victory.

The partnership, announced by Express Wash Concepts CEO John Roush, features the "Victory Drive" campaign. Following every Steelers regular-season home win, registered fans can claim a free signature Clean-est Ultra wash, valued at $28, at any local branch. The initiative also provides incentives for the Wash Smart Unlimited Club, including monthly discounts and Steelers Pro Shop gift cards for early subscribers.

This business alignment carries a historical footnote: Jim Baker, the owner of the Pleasant Hills property currently housing a Clean Express site, is the same individual who secured the game ball during the 1972 playoff game featuring Franco Harris. For Baker, the marriage of the two brands feels like a natural extension of his long-standing ties to the team.

Beyond consumer perks, the collaboration focuses on regional philanthropy. For every new membership sold through the promotion, Clean Express will donate $10 to the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, with the Steelers matching that contribution up to $5,000. This expansion coincides with a rapid growth phase for the car wash operator, which currently manages 13 Greater Pittsburgh locations and expects to reach 20 sites by the end of 2026.
