Goldsmith brings two decades of experience in SEC reporting and public company governance to the Las Vegas-based firm. Effective September 24, 2026, he joins the board alongside recent executive hires, including Chief Financial Officer Larry King and Chief Accounting Officer Heather Clayton. His arrival allows Dr. Morris A. Davis, an economist and former White House housing advisor, to transition from his role as Audit Committee chair while remaining a committee member.
During his 21-year tenure at EY, Goldsmith oversaw complex audits for companies with valuations reaching $3 billion. Founder and co-CEO Paolo Tiramani cited this technical background as essential for the company's current scaling phase. Goldsmith’s expertise encompasses U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance—frameworks that BOXABL now prioritizes as it navigates its new status on the Nasdaq. The company, which has raised over $230 million since 2017, continues to focus on mass-producing its Casita modular units while building out the corporate infrastructure required for sustained public operations.
