Boots is set to debut its presence on TikTok Shop on September 28th. Partnering with THG Commerce, the retailer will initially feature a curated selection of No7 skincare and beauty products, with plans to expand the range in the coming months. Paula Bobbett, Chief Digital and Data Officer at Boots, noted that the move aligns with how customers already discover beauty trends through creators and trusted communities.
Across the Atlantic, Best Buy is mirroring this strategy. The electronics giant will integrate nearly 10,000 products—including items from Microsoft, Dyson, and Bose—into the TikTok ecosystem. Jonathan Greer, Vice President of E-commerce at Best Buy, emphasized that social media has evolved beyond mere influence, becoming a primary discovery channel where creators play a pivotal role in the consumer journey.
