Best Buy Canada overhauls supply chain with RELEX forecasting tech

Best Buy Canada is deploying RELEX Solutions to overhaul its inventory management across more than 300 stores and two distribution centers. The electronics retailer aims to automate planning processes and sharpen inventory visibility for its 2.1 million SKUs to meet shifting consumer demand more effectively.

The Vancouver-based company selected the platform to bridge the gap between supply chain constraints and replenishment planning. By integrating these variables into a single automated system, Best Buy Canada intends to drive efficiency across its omnichannel operations. Christian Trudel, VP of Inventory and Merchandising Operations, noted that the move is essential for maintaining a competitive edge in the consumer electronics market.

RELEX Solutions expects the partnership to help the retailer respond more confidently to fluctuations in the retail landscape. According to Greg Westrick, Vice President at RELEX, the ability to automate routine planning while maintaining a clear view of the entire network is central to improving both operational performance and the customer experience.
