Chris Greenwood hands over Mamas & Papas IT leadership after 36 years

Greenwood, who spent 36 years at the helm of the company’s technology operations, described the transition as a significant milestone. He expressed confidence in his successor, noting that Platt possesses the necessary experience and balanced temperament to guide the team forward. According to Greenwood, the appointment ensures that the brand’s focus remains on using technology to support both its staff and broader business objectives.

Platt will now take full responsibility for the IT team, though he will not be working in isolation during the handover. Greenwood will remain with Mamas & Papas for the next six months in a consultative role to assist with the integration and support the business through the leadership shift. Reflecting on the appointment, Greenwood stated that he felt fortunate to have been able to help select his own successor, emphasizing that the team is in capable hands.
