Bill Skarsgård Tapped for Hideo Kojima’s Action-Espionage Physint

The casting announcement confirmed that Skarsgård’s likeness and performance will serve as the core of the game, joined by a cast including Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe. Filmmaker Jordan Peele is also attached to the production. Physint represents the third original intellectual property from Kojima Productions and aims to redefine the action-espionage genre through advanced technology and cinematic storytelling. While Skarsgård is best known for his portrayal of the terrifying Pennywise in the IT franchise—a role he is slated to revisit in the upcoming second season of HBO’s Welcome to Derry—this collaboration marks his first major venture into video games. The actor’s recent filmography includes appearances in Gus Van Sant’s Dead Man’s Wire and The Death of Robin Hood, alongside upcoming roles in Peter Berg’s The Mosquito Bowl and Andrew Niccol’s Lords of War.
