Fremantle and Sony Pictures Television’s 19 Entertainment are currently finalizing a deal for a studio complex in Atlanta, a city already established as a major production hub for Marvel blockbusters and reality hits like The 1% Club. The relocation marks a significant shift for the ABC giant, which has historically centered its narrative around the iconic "You’re going to Hollywood!" catchphrase. The move follows a broader trend as production companies grapple with California’s rising costs. Data from FilmLA shows reality television production in Los Angeles has plummeted by roughly 63% over the last five years, with networks increasingly favoring states offering competitive tax credits. Georgia provides a transferable credit of up to 30% for qualifying productions, a threshold that has drawn major shows away from the West Coast.

While virtual auditions for the milestone 25th season are already underway, the show’s future lineup remains a point of speculation. Host Ryan Seacrest and judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood are expected to return, though ABC has yet to officially confirm the panel.
